Making Easter Hats with Kids and a Free Book

What is with Easter?
What is Easter?
Although Easter is the time that we observe the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the rebirth of the nature, it is also a time when kids enjoy getting chocolate eggs they hunt for. Bunnies, chicks, lambs and brightful colors are also part of the holiday.

Easter parades take place in some areas and your little girl may want to join them wearing Easter themed clothes and accessories.

How about making an Easter hat?

If you are short on ideas to make your child a colorful and original hat, then here is a page where you can find some ideas for you to make an Easter egg hat and even more. Provided that you have a straw hat on hand and some craft tools, you can give your child something that is absolutely unique and will make her stand out.

What is Easter, a free Kindle book for kids

I also was browsing Amazon earlier today and found a cute Kindle book that you might want your child to have. It is definitely one to get if you are Christian so as to teach her/him the meaning of Easter.

What is Easter? (Easter Book for Kids to Teach Children the Meaning of Easter) is a book that will allow you to teach the Christian meaning of the Easter observance. As a matter of fact, Easter is not only a matter of eggs, bunnies, chicks, chocolate and candy for Christians. It is also a time of remembrance and you may consider important to let your kids know what it means.

This beautiful Kindle book is free to download so you might want to take an eye on it. The rhymes and brightly colored images included in this book make it an attractive educational too for little ones.

Easter cookies are a great way to show your loved ones how much you care. Cookies are better gift ideas than flowers as they last longer and your recipient can take lots of pleasure from eating them. Cookies are also very versatile and can be used in different ways.

For example Easter cookie gift ideas might consist into a bucket filled with flower shaped cookies on picks and look like a bouquet. They also can be decorated with Easter designs and fill an exquisite gift basket adorned with a big pastel rose or blue bow.

If you too want an alternative to the standard present, I suggest you to take an eye to these yummy Easter cookie gift ideas that I chose for you.

Wanna Make Some Easter Bells or Windchimes?

With Easter approaching, you may want to create some unique ornaments for the home or even the porch.

One of the Easter symbols that are almost unknown are the bells that are supposed to fly to the city of Rome - Vatican City - and get sprinkled with the Pope's blessings before heading back to our countries wearing tons of chocolate eggs that they are supposed to spread on our gardens during their fly back their home country.

That is what I'm about to propose you as a holiday ornament. In the page I created especially for you, you are going to learn how to make Easter bells out of terracotta plant pots.

Using pastel paints and Easter themed ornaments, you can create stunning ornaments for the home or even use these Easter bells as windchimes on the porch.

So don't delay and head to this easy to make craft - even for the kids: How To Make Easter Bells out of Terracotta Pots.

Three Major Overhauls Finally Finished

Hello dear readers :)

It has been a while that I have not been posting on here. I missed you a lot and am really sorry for this. A lot of things changed in both my personal life and online one.

Keeping personal things private, I'll focus on online stuff. First, my Squidoo account was hit by last year Google updates. Not really, it was hit and its traffic plummeted after the site got a major overhaul and that I had to modify my Squidoo lenses so as to abide by the new and ever changing rules.

This required a lot of work and months as I had 200 pages on this site. After modifications, traffic dropped like a stone and I had to spend my time monitoring the pages in order for the less performing ones to be deleted. Once a Squidoo lens deleted, I needed to wait for some time and repurpose it. Which I did for some of them - the most part waiting for that move as well.

As if this mess with the writing platform wasn't enough, in June, all my sites, including Holly Day were hit by Google's updates and their traffic started plummeting as well. Something had to be done, but I didn't know what to do to make my sites loved by Google again. I must admit that I neglected my sites before since I focused more on my pages on Squidoo. This didn't do me any good since I lost on both sides.

In August I also started to write tips and tricks for Halloween and noticed that the site was still old fashioned, hand coded (yes, I still used to use Notepad++ to update the site) and thought that it would be a good idea to revamp it while providing it with a more modern look. Which I did.

So, My Happy Halloween became the more dynamic site it had become and got its share of traffic on Halloween. Phew! What a rush! What a work! But worthwhile I must say and it's now ready for the next Halloween event.

Once the site up and running again, I noticed that It's Christmas Time did have a poor appearance and I wanted to turn it into something more attractive as well. So it also got a major overhaul.

In three months, both sites were modified entirely, the old article links redirected to the new ones, prettier I must say. They are also hosting more decorating ideas, party plans, costume tips and craft tutorials than before and I keep adding things when something comes to my mind. No need to wait for Halloween or Christmas to get new ideas, they are now all year long festivals.

Once the sites modified and running smoothly, I started working on making Holly Day - Make any day a holiday look better as well. I was tired of the old green color and reworked the header as well as all the colors within the site. It is now a very spring-y and joyful colored
website that features even more holiday related writings.

So from now on it is my hope to spread the news from the three sites - to which one was added and that shares my best gift ideas for everyone - more often and on a regular basis. I cross my fingers for Google or other major search engine to not ruin my hard work so as to let me focus on delivering tips and tricks for successful holidays instead of wasting my time with constant modifications.

See you soon for some Easter news.
